The “Symphonic Chant” for solo cello and two orchestras was written in 2025. The work is dedicated to Alexander Rudin, the Moscow chamber orchestra “Musica Viva” and the Russian National Orchestra. Alexander Rudin is the artistic director and principal conductor of both orchestras. The “Symphonic Chant” marks the conductor’s sixty-fifth birthday.
