Pizzicato is a series of method books for violin beginners of all ages. This series is designed for individual lessons with a teacher with each piece containing a student part and a teacher part where one is accompanying the other. Technical exercises are included to help students learn the pieces more efficiently. One of the special features of this series is that most pieces have an additional part for other beginners to join and teachers may make use of the additional parts to create beginner ensembles for recitals and concerts. With its simplified versions of well known classical pieces and famous folk, students will have enjoyable lessons learning the basics of the violin without having to repeat the usual jingles.
